Nu Cine Copan to Install the World’s First Acoustically Transparent 8K Tricorne Premium LED Cinema Screen
Nu Cine Copan will feature a massive 20-meter curved Tricorne Premium LED cinema screen with native 8K resolution, forming the stunning visual centerpiece of its historic theater restoration and premium large format (PLF) experience.
The screen incorporates Tricorne’s pioneering acoustically transparent technology, enabling loudspeakers to remain behind the screen to preserve traditional cinema sound layouts without compromising audio quality. Fusing Oscar Niemeyer’s iconic architectural heritage with Hollywood-certified DCI HDR presentation and true blacks, the venue redefines the luxury movie palace experience for audiences in Brazil.
